About this course

Overview

Event control can be extremely challenging. Individuals in the sector need to equip themselves with abilities such as filtering information, through to making the right decisions when it counts. We’ll prime you with the knowledge needed to organise safe, secure and successful events.

Underpinning skills with informed decision making can help to avoid such incidents, emergencies and reputation damage.

Looking at partnerships, communication and situation awareness, we explore how people connect with each other and the barriers that prevent this.

Focusing on producing a comprehensive audit trail, we’ll look at events, contingency plans and how the risks change during incidents and how new technology shapes response.

You’ll leave us with confidence in multiple aspects of event control, ready to command and control situations and fully immerse your team in its roles and responsibilities.
