Shoreham Airshow Disaster
An ex-military jet aircraft crashed during a display at the Shoreham Airshow, England, killing 11 people and injuring 16 others. The pilot survived but was critically injured. The crash was due to pilot error after they tried to perform a loop but crashed into a major road. It was the deadliest air show accident in the United Kingdom since the 1952 Farnborough Airshow crash. The pilot was found not guilty of 11 counts of manslaughter, an inquest into the victims deaths is due in 2021.
