Oakland Rave Fire
An illegal concert of 100 people, occurred at the Ghost Ship Warehouse, Oakland. Electrical problems throughout the building and a build up of flammable materials is believed to of caused the fire that killed 36 people. The City of Oakland settled a civil lawsuit for the victims and agreed to pay a total of $33 million to the affected individuals and the families of the deceased.
